The 2024 Level 9 and 10 Regional qualifying score is a 34.00 AA at the state meet OR by PREQUALIFYING (stipulations listed below) with a 35.00 AA received at any USA Gymnastics sanctioned competition during the current season, WITHOUT PETITIONING.

IESs may qualify with a 9.0 or higher at States. There is no prequalification for IESs.

Below please find all details regarding the 2024 Region 7 Level 7  Championships.

Qualification to the first annual Region 7 Level 7 Championships is as follows:

All Level 7 athletes who receive a 35.50 AA at their state meet will be qualified to Regionals.

No IES

Injury petitions will be accepted per petitioning procedures in R&P at a 36.50 AA.  

For Level 8:

All Level 8 athletes who receive a 35.00 AA or above at their state meet will be qualified to Regionals.

No IES

Injury petitions will be accepted per petitioning procedures in R&P at a 36.00 AA.

Top 8 from each state meet, regardless of age division, will be eligible to compete for their State Team.

Please note:  The Level  7 and Level 8 meets will be running simultaneously which means you could have athletes competing in 2 different gyms at the same time throughout the weekend.  Please plan accordingly.

Hello Region 7 xcel!  We know you are anxiously awaiting a schedule - however there are multiple xcel State meets still happening this weekend (and next) that are preventing us from being able to structure the competition just yet.  Please bear with us!

That said, in an effort to get a schedule to you ASAP - we are asking all those athletes who are not yet registered, but plan to compete (whether you are qualified or not) to please register NOW with a deadline of Monday May 6, 2024 by 11:59pm. 

If your State meet is after Monday May 6, 2024 and you have entered your athletes (because we asked you to) and they ended up not qualifying.....you will be able to scratch those athletes up through May 13, at 11:59pm for a FULL refund.

Thank you for your patience - we are doing the best we can to create an amazing regional experience for the athletes.

A few more items:

*As voted on by the Region 7 committee - all Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire athletes will receive a Region 7 leotard for the competition. 

*All Gold athletes will have the opportunity to purchase that same leotard either on site or by special order to be delivered after the competition.  These custom Region 7 plum leotards will be $20.00.

*Competition will be Golds in one gym - and structured youngest to oldest age divisions.  Platinum sessions will precede Diamond and Sapphire competing in the other gym also structured from youngest to oldest age divisions. 

*We anticipate starting competition on Thursday May 16 and continuing through Sunday May 19.  

*Our plan is to have a schedule out by end of the day on Tuesday May 7th.

The 2024 Xcel Gold, Platinum and Diamond Regional qualifying score is a 35.00 AA at the State meet OR by PREQUALIFYING (stipulations listed below) with 36.00 AA received at any USA Gymnastics sanctioned competition during the current season, WITHOUT PETITIONING.

The 2024 Xcel Sapphire Regional qualifying score is a 33.00 AA at the State meet OR by PREQUALIFYING (stipulations listed below) with 34.00 AA received at any USA Gymnastics sanctioned competition during the current season, WITHOUT PETITIONING.

IESs at each Xcel level may qualify with a 9.0 or higher at States OR by PREQUALIFYING with a 9.2 or higher received at any USA Gymnastics sanctioned competition during the current season, WITHOUT PETITIONING.

Injury petitions following R&P regulations will be accepted for each Xcel level as follows:
     Gold, Platinum and Diamond: 36.00 AA
     Sapphire: 34.00 AA

Stipulations for prequalificiation: 

1. Register for and participate in their state meet, and
2. Document the prequalification with their State chair if required.
